a springer front end just fell into my hands that i was going to build a chopper with, the guy who sold me the front end did not know where they came from so i took the time to look and it seems they are from a norton 1932 cj 350cc or later. the only problem is in all the pictures i have seen the front end is black and mine is chrome and the fork legs are tube, mine start as tube but 2" into the legs top and bottom they get pinched and are soild square bar from those points on, the work does not look like its done as a fix job it looks like it was made that way. im just wonderind before i start on anything with these forks are they worth anything to a classic bike builder or no? if they are not then on a chopper they will go but i dont want to butcher something thats home is ment to be on a bike as perfect as th norton, thank you for your time. p.s sorry for no pictures my my digital camers has decided to die on me but ill see if i can get a loaner.
