"Identifying a Combat Commando"
|
Hi
I am interested in buying a Combat Commando, I understand to indentify the Combat there is a "C" ontop of the cylinder head. But the headsteady bolt needs to be removed to see it. Is this the only way to indentify the Combat?
I have removed the tank and headsteady bolt and the only markings I can see are "RH6". This bike is supposed to be a Combat.
Also is there much difference between the Combat and Reg Commando. Power, performance, reliability, Price. Would someone be just as happy with the Commando.
Any info would be great.
Thank you.

I have 202208! Bought it May '06. Unfortunatly I just ventilated the timing side case so looking at rebuile. Thought of going lower compression pistons, but decided that was too wimpy, I need to keep it a true combat.
