As a total beginner and new owner of a Norton Atlas 64, I got in trouble. I have separated the engine total. Since early owner had not done a good job. Now I have the problem of taking bearings from the motor housing. I've had the innermost of. However, the outer bearing is completely stuck. What do I do? As a new owner and possibly new mechanic on Norton's, I highly suggest you find and join your local norton club to get assistance or guidance for rebuilding your machine.

thank you But this is Denmark! We do not have local Norton club. But being in contact with several people who know a bit about it.

No norton club ? what a shame I think New England is twice the size of Denmark and we have a local Norton club. Lots of technical help from friends. Maybe you should start a norton club. or try one of these: http://www.norton-mc.dk/ Albion MC Denmark British Bike Club catering to owners of BSA, Triumph, Ariel, Norton... Albion MC was founded in 1983 and is today the biggest Danish club solely for British Motorcycles. cheers Dave
