"Very basic BASIC Norton questions... one of which most important"
|
Very basic question, yet probably (undoubtedly!) the most important question that I'll ever ask you fine people. Which is, where in God's name is the best place(s) for me to seek out Norton parts? I'm kind of old school, so like LOOKING at specific picture parts before I order (due to my being a complete NOVICE, sad to say).
Anyway, I have purchased a '73 850 Commando, and it has *NO* turn signals/indicaters (i.e. no blinkers) on it. Major metropolitan area, I'm scared [email protected] even in daylight hours (much less rush hour, or at dusk!). Point being: I have wasted SO many hours trying to find just these things (blinkers), it dawned on me in desperation (being new), that everyone here will already KNOW the best places to get parts.
SO-ooo... would you guys please post/tell me your top one or two favorite/best places to get Norton parts? OEM and also aftermarket?
Jeez, guys, thank you so much in advance, as I truly need some blinkers installed.

Sorry, dawned on me that I should say I'm in the Milwaukee, Wisconsin area, as anything remotely close would beat mail order. And please, I don't want to hear about Sunset Motors, or the Great "T.C."... Sunset Motors has NEVER bothered to return either any of my multiple calls, or show enough respect to answer my emails (I guess it's SMOKE SIGNALS that they prefer, so to hell with them).

Hye, Not that I want to rub it in at all but I'm in the UK, and near the home of Norton, I know you can call me a bitch if you like but, what I want to point out is we have a disk here from NORVIL one of few companys to get parts from. We are also building an ES2 and we have found quite a few parts on eBay, if you find something on ebay and will not ship abroad, give us a shout and if you pay for it, we'll ship it to you, that way you get it. What i'll also try to do is find all the local companys that supply norton parts. I dont mind helping you at all, if I can that is as I work from home I always have time on my hands.
I will try to send a link to you that will give you the info on the disk, that is if I can copy it to the computor, its not copywrited so it should be OK, and the guy who owns it seems OK to deal with.

Kind regards,
