Hello Terry; I'm Digger a "wheezin' gezzer". I was just out surfin' the net this am and ran across your query about Long Roadholders. I’ll try to help. But I’m not exactly sure what front end you have now. Metal Profile made a lot of forks and Long Roadholders date back to plunger frames if memory serves. I will dig in to the library this morning and check on that. If you indeed have ‘Long’ forks then you will need to replace the stanchions with a different length, if there are any being made these days, and perhaps the dampers too. If on the other hand you have Roadholders as fitted to an Atlas, which have the longest of the three stanchion lengths fitted to various models, you will only have to replace the tubes.
