"Will a Roadster seat fit up OK with a Hi Rider tank?"


  

          

Has anybody had any experience with mix and matching tanks and seats? I have a 1971 Hi Rider and would like to be able to have a Roadster seat to put on if I want to ride 2 up. I'm thinking these should fit together and this is my logic: The SS model for 71 used the same tank as the Hi Rider. It also appears that it used the same seat as the Roadster. Also would like to use a later Roadster seat with metal pan but before they were hinged. Anybody out there played any of these games and can give me any confirmation on this? Thanks

Yes you are right. The seats and tanks will interchange on roadstar and highrider/SS. I have both body work styles and have used them in various combinations on my 72 combat. Dave

I have a 1970 S model with a High Rider tank. Love the look but the driving distance sucks. "It's better to look good than to feel good dahling".
