"How much in common: Triumph T140V & Norton 850 Commando ? "


  

          

It has been bothering me for some time, and I am searching for some answers. How many parts / pieces / bits / etc doe the Triumph T140V and Norton 850 Commandos have in common ? I am under the impression that certain pieces of body work / gauges / other parts are shared, but how interchangeable are these two machines ? Any insight is greatly appreciated.

Possibly the throttle twist of the 75 norton MKIII and t140 might be the same casting but the norton has the estart button and the triumph doesn't . maybe the rear norton brake cylinder is like the triumph.
