Hi, I just aquired a 1974-75 Norton 850 w/electric start. I don't have a manual yet and am trying to locate the ignition condensers. Can anyone help me with the location?
Thanks
Vic

The ignition capacitors (old term condensers) are under a little rubber covered cap in front of the coils.
Any MKIII E-start is considered a MY (model year) 75 even though they were released late 74.

The blue thing on a spring is an efficieny aid. It's contribution is in fact small but it is not not useless.
